SAA Offers Simple, Smarter & Faster Check-In Processes

If you're anticipating nearby, local or worldwide travel, make sure to book your flight tickets with SAA. Important note:

  • Bookings made within 24 hours of departure, those travellers will not be able to make use of mobile check-in process. 
  • The boarding gate closes 30 minutes before departure.
  • Mobile check-in, online check-in and kiosk are not available from Johannesburg to Sao Paulo.

If you are travelling from Dar es Salaam, please continue to the check-in counters for ticket issuance as the printing of online or mobile check-in is not allowed.

Important note: It is illegal to take any risky things on board. The accompanying things will be seized if observed to be in a traveller’s ownership: Knives, firearms or anything that represents a firearm, toys, scissors or any objects that could pose a threat to the safety of the crew and the fellow passengers.
