Convenient Check-In Process with SAA Airlines

If you're anticipating nearby, local or worldwide travel, make sure to book your flight tickets with South African Airways. High traffic at peak times might cause delay, so check-in 1 hour before your departure time.

Before you check in online, you should have your flight ticket and passport details of all the people accompanying you. You have to complete the following steps to check-in online:

  • Enter your surname, the booking reference number and your point of departure
  • For travel agent bookings, use your e-ticket number to identify yourself
  • Select the travellers you would like to check in
  • You will have the option of selecting or changing or confirming the seat
  • Once you have completed the check-in process, online boarding pass will be issued for each traveller accompanying you

Don’t forget to print your boarding passes and take it with you to the airport, so your check in process is quick and easy. However, once a traveler has confirmed his seat using the online check-in, he will no longer be liable to make any changes. It would be ideal if you take note that South African Airways has the right to change a traveler’s seat before travel.
